Most people that own a pet say they will do just about anything for their animal. However, when that act involves taking on a bear to save the animal's life, most would likely back down from that challenge. That wasn't the case though for one California woman, who decided to fight a bear in her backyard when she spotted it attacking her dogs.
As seen in the now viral clip, a bear and its two cubs walk on a wall in the woman's backyard when several dogs run up to the bears and begin barking. A fight breaks out, as the dogs continue barking and the bear swipes at them to protect its cubs. Eventually, a woman is seen running from the home and pushing the bear off the wall.
"I was like 'Oh my God, there's a bear, and it is taking my dog. It is lifting her up off the ground," said Hailey Morinico. According to NBC News, the incident took place in Bradbury, California where bear sightings are quite common. Luckily, the woman's dogs were not injured, and now she can tell people she beat a bear in a fight.
