There are many benefits to putting up a fake tree for Christmas, but the main one may be seeing how wild animals react to a tree inside the home. Every year videos go viral of animals making their way inside and causing chaos. The latest example of this sees a raccoon hiding out in a Christmas tree, eventually ending up on a chandelier inside a home, leading to a woman’s profanity filled response.

Aubrey Iacobelli of Florida recently shared video of the wild animal encounter she had thanks to her Christmas tree. As seen in the now viral video, the raccoon was hiding in the tree before dashing to the dining room and eventually making it up onto a chandelier. “C’mon, get out of my tree. I swear, if you knock down any of my glass ornaments, cat!” the woman can be heard saying.

Iacobelli is seen holding a frying pan attempting to scare the raccoon out of the home. After many attempts the raccoon finally left after being swatted by a broom. Next year, the woman likely will at least think about going with a fake tree.
