On the new season of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, star Larry David finds himself in hot water -- again -- after going down to Georgia to make an appearance at a birthday party, only to be caught giving bottled water to voters waiting in line, violating the 2021 Election Integrity Act in the state.
While watching a fake news segment about his arrest with Jeff and Susie Greene (Jeff Garlin and Susie Essman), MSNBC hosts welcome former Georgia State Representative Stacey Abrams and Bruce Springsteen to share their praise. "Larry David took a big risk," Springsteen says in the short segment. "He put his name and his body on the line."
As Susie remarks that Larry is "like a hero or something," Springsteen continues, "'Involvement.' That’s Larry David’s middle name," he says. "Larry ‘Involvement’ David.” Check out the clip below.
Regarding "The Boss" cameo, executive producer for Curb, Jeff Schaffer, tells The Hollywood Reporter, “You never see [Springsteen] on TV shows... It seemed like a really huge deal because you never get to see that — and also, it’s Bruce f***ing Springsteen.”
The 12th and final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm is now playing on HBO and streaming on MAX. Springsteen appears in the season's second episode, titled, The Lawn Jockey.
