Vandals hit Los Gatos High School in three separate incidents throughout Halloween night.
Halloween is a night full of candy and costumes, and when the kids get a little older, pranks.
However, this Halloween some went too far, vandalizing Los Gatos High School in three different incidents throughout the night, according to reporting by KGO.

The school’s principal, Kevin Buchanan, told the station that in a span of just an hour and a half, a student's prize-winning 529-pound pumpkin was destroyed and a campus-wide egging commenced.
"They came with cartons of eggs. They were filming it on their phones," Buchanan said. "We saw that on our surveillance video. And they went from building to building and egged almost every building."
But Buchanan was most fazed by the destruction caused by a third group that night.
"They spray-painted racist and homophobic slurs across campus," Buchanan said. "And in some cases, targeted specific teachers by name on their classroom walls-windows."
Not only was the campus defaced, but a teacher’s home was as well, the station reported.
"That situation is beyond the high school," he said. "Our high school is a challenge. We are an open campus. We maintain kind of a collegiate-type environment here, where all the buildings have different departments, and there are no fences around our campus."
Buchanan assumed his position just this past summer and has been well aware of the difficulties facing the school.
The issue came up at Tuesday’s City Council meeting amongst a larger discussion of how the city and the school district could better handle illicit teen behavior.
"Of course the schools have a great deal of responsibility for shaping behaviors of students, but parents are often involved," said Councilmember Matthew Hudes, as reported by KGO.
On the Halloween destruction, Buchanan posted a video to YouTube seeking information on the vandals. People are asked to share what they know on a confidential and anonymous basis.
