
In these weeks leading up to Easter, there is certainly one debate emanating from every house in America that celebrates: “What candy should we get this year?”
Obviously you’re going to have more than one type handy throughout the holiday, but which brand will make the cut? Are you a Reese’s or a Starburst family?
Well, a new study from Instacart found which candies America loves best during the Easter holiday.
The survey, conducted by The Harris Poll, asked 2,000 Americans what their favorite Easter candy is, and the top ten is as follows:
1-Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs
2-Kinder Chocolate Candy Egg (with surprise toy inside)
3-Starburst Easter Jellybeans
4-Lindt Hollow Milk Bunny
5-Cadbury Easter Creme Egg
6-Hershey's Milk Chocolate Candy Eggs
7-Hershey's Milk Chocolate Kisses
8-PEEPS Yellow Marshmallow Chicks
9-M&M's Easter Milk Chocolate Candy
10-Brach's Jelly Bird Eggs
Laurentia Romaniuk, Instacart’s trends expert, told FOX Business, “Americans certainly have a hankering for the sweet combination of chocolate and peanut butter.
“When looking at the top-selling Easter candy in every state, Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs are the clear favorite in 29 states including the entire west coast.”
