The San Diego Police Department has released a body-worn video of a high-risk traffic stop.
A picture that's been circulating online seems to show an officer pointing his guy at an eight-year-old boy. But the video showed the officer pointed the gun at the car's passenger door until the child was out of the vehicle, then moved his weapon to the side.
The child walked back to the police and the motorcycle officer, who initiated the stop, explained to him what was going on.
The driver was issued a citation for reckless driving, and he and the boy were allowed to leave.
