A Consumer Alert has been issued for a popular Pittsburgh restaurant for the second time in less than a month after multiple complains of customers getting sick.

Four violations were reported during the inspection including one considered high-risk.

Wheat noodles, made on Sunday, were temped between 46 and 49 degrees in a covered in a plastic container in the walk-in cooler.

That was food was thrown away.

Another high-risk violation was observed with cold food holding temperatures above the 41-degree safety zone.

That included cooked rice noodles, bean sprouts, wheat noodles measuring between 55 and 75 degrees.

All of that food was thrown away.

Additionally, utensils were found stored in “dirty stagnant water” on the expo line and dishes were sent through the dish machine and removed by an employee who had not washed their hands.

The inspection came after a complaint said multiple households got sick after eating at the restaurant on September 4 and 6.

During an inspection late last month, Noodlehead was hit with 15 violations (four high-risk).

That alert was removed on September 3.

Any updates to the restaurant’s status will be updated on the ACHD’s website.
