We asked for your help and you stepped up big time! Billy Hartung is singing your praises but tells Marty they're not out of danger yet.

When Billy reached out for my help, he was on the verge of a final curtain call for all programs at the Center For Theater Arts in Mount Lebanon, PA.

Since the pandemic began, class sizes had to be slashed to twenty-five percent for safety. They also had to cancel all in-person fundraising events. The combination was a nearly lethal blow to the organization's finances.

Here's our original story on the CTA, showing you what they do and why the program is so crucial to so many people.

Last weekend Billy and his team put together a virtual version of their annual "Reach For The Stars, Prom Night" that celebrates the CTA's Special Actor Program. Billy says it was a telethon-style event that was able to raise a good bit of money, though it still falls short of their normal fundraising efforts.

It's still not too late to donate, they're also planning a special encore presentation on November 25th from 6pm - 8pm.
