Pittsburgh Police are investigating after a hit and run incident in the Lower Hill.
It happened late last night around 9:45 p.m. at the intersection of Centre Avenue and Logan Street.
Police say a woman who was walking her dog was struck by a vehicle, which then fled the scene.
She was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
The dog was injured as well and received treatment at the police station.
Police have no suspects in custody, no word on a description of that vehicle as the investigation is ongoing.
