A fugitive wanted in South Carolina was arrested in McKeesport this morning.
Travis Burton was wanted for shooting and killing a 65-year-old man in Johns Island, South Carolina earlier this year, on January 14th.
The US Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force received information he may be in McKeesport.
Early Wednesday morning, law enforcement found Burton in the basement of a home on the 600 block of Romine Street.
He was taken to the Allegheny County Jail and is awaiting extradition.
He's charged by the Charleston County Sheriff's office with Criminal Homicide and Possession of a firearm.
