A chicken restaurant in the North Side is under Consumer Alert after an inspection on Tuesday.
The Allegheny County Health Department says Quik-It Chicken on the 800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue was hit with 15 total violations including two considered high-risk.
The high-risk violations include no sanitizer being available at the beginning of the inspection. Bleach was purchased before the inspection was over.
There was an accumulation of food debris on utensils throughout the store and a cutting board that was stored.
Evidence of cockroaches were found in several areas including a live cockroach found in an unused pizza oven.
This is the second time in the past three months the store was hit with a Consumer Alert.
16 violations were recorded after an inspection in September.
