A Robinson Township restaurant reopened Friday after an immigration raid in June.
Thai Foon reopened for business on August 1 after being closed for nearly two months.
A note on the door says the closure was “due to short staffs!”
Thai Foon confirmed they plan to be open every day moving forward.
The Asian restaurant is known for its dishes inspired from Thailand, Vietnam, China, Korea and Japan.
ICE agents showed up at the restaurant at the Settlers Ridge plaza on June 6.
In a statement sent in June, Immigration and Customs Enforcement said it was arresting people who illegally re-enter the country after being removed, who have been ordered removed or are unlawfully present.
The FBI confirmed with KDKA Radio that “The FBI in Pittsburgh continues to provide investigative, technical, and analytical support to our partners at the Department of Homeland Security in their immigration operations all over the region as directed by the Attorney General.”
Witnesses tell KDKA Radio that several locations were targeted during the operations in the Robinson Township area.
Thai Foon is open Monday through Saturday and closed Sundays.
