Chad Johnson in tears as Steelers crush Bengals playoff hopes

The Steelers didn’t just beat the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, they pretty much ruined any chance they had of making the playoffs.

Even with Joe Burrow and the offense playing very well, the Bengals defense is so bad, the team is 4-8 and in third place in the AFC North, only the Browns are worse at 3-8.

The reality of Cincinnati’s situation after the Steelers put 44 up on the Bengals hit former wide receiver Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson hard.

Speaking on the Nightcap podcast with Shannon Sharpe, Johnson was reduced to tears when talking about the result of Sunday’s game and the reality facing Cincinnati.

“We gonna be alright,” said Johnson about the Bengals, while tears rolled down his face.

“No y’all aint,” responded Sharpe.

Just before that, Sharpe told Ocho, “You should be crying.”

“Unc” kept piling on saying the Bengals may be back in 2025, but not this season.

“Man, Ocho said we’re going to be alright . . . now everybody (in Cincinnati) doing nothing but eating chili and hot dogs,” added Sharpe.

The Steelers end their season on January 5 against the Bengals at home and Johnson may be crying again in early 2025.

He and former Steelers linebacker James Harrison are supposed to have an MMA-style fight in New Orleans during Super Bowl week.
