PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Already announcing on 93.7 The Fan that broadcasters Bill Hillgrove and Dick Groat were going into the Pitt Athletics Hall of Fame, now the announcement of nine others to join the class. It includes the face of the basketball program for more than the couple years he played and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

DeJuan Blair (men’s basketball)
· A consensus All-American Blair averaged a double-double in his final college season as the Panthers went 31-5 and advanced to the Elite Eight. He was also the Big East Player and Rookie of the Year
Darrelle Revis (football)
· A Freshman All-American, Revis started 34 games and was a two-time All-Big East corner before getting the title ‘Revis Island’ for his ability to cover NFL receivers. A seven-time Pro Bowler, Revis is in the Pro Football Hall of Fame
Brianna Kiesel (women’s basketball)
· Started 122 games and led the team to the NCAA Tournament as the only Panthers women’s basketball player to score at least 1,500 points, 500 rebounds, 400 assists in a career.
Al Romano (football)
· A consensus All-American and Outland Trophy finalist, the nose tackle was the heart of a defense that won a National Championship in 1976 and he was named the Sun Bowl Most Valuable Lineman in 1975.
Jamie Pelusi (women’s soccer)
· Finished her career as Pitt’s all-time leader in saves, save percentage, goals against average, shutouts and wins after starting 53 consecutive games. She was a two-time All-Big East honoree and won the Coach Wooden Citizenship Cup as a role model as an athlete and person.
Amy Jackson (women’s swimming)
· One of only four Pitt athletes named a four-time All-American, she did it in 20 events along with winning Eastern championships in the 50 butterfly, 100 butterfly, 200 freestyle and 400 free relay.
George McLaren (football)
· A fullback under Pop Warner, he was a two-time All-American and went 30-1 in his Pitt career winning a pair of national championships. McLaren is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
Steve Lewis (track and field coach)
· He started coaching the women’s program in 1984 and served eight years as the head coach for the men and women. Among the nearly 70 All-Americans, he coached two-time Olympic gold medalist Roger Kingdom.
The class will be inducted in the Pitt Athletics Hall of Fame Dinner on Friday, September 13 on the eve of the Backyard Brawl.
