Steelers guard Seumalo being evaluated with pectoral injury

UPDATE: Schefter says Seumalo's injury is NOT season-ending.

The Steelers offensive line had taken another blow before the season even begins.

According to reports, including ESPN’s Adam Schefter, guard Isaac Seumalo left practice on Wednesday with a pectoral injury.

Schefter says the starter is “undergoing tests to determine the severity of the injury.”

Pectoral injuries are typically weeks or months-long injuries, not days.

Taken in the third-round of the 2016 draft by the Eagles, Seumalo played his first seven years with the Eagles winning one Super Bowl and making it to another.

He signed a three-year, $24 million deal with the Steelers before the 2023 season.

Seumalo missed time in 2018 with a pec injury and started every game with the Eagles and Steelers over the past two seasons.
