Two armed suspects were taken into custody after a four-hour standoff in Reseda, authorities said Tuesday.
The standoff began at around 9 p.m. Monday after Los Angeles Police Department officers pursued the suspects, who were driving a car and had an outstanding felony warrant, into Reseda, where the suspects abandoned the vehicle.
The man and woman then ran into a Vons supermarket at Victory Boulevard and Tampa Avenue, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
Officers evacuated the store, called in a K-9 unit and set up a perimeter around the store, police said.
The suspects were taken into custody around 1 a.m. Tuesday.
