Two women suffered minor smoke inhalation during an attic fire Monday at a single-story home in Valley Village, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 8:59 a.m. to 11729 W. Hartsook St. had the blaze out within 19 minutes of their arrival, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.

Two women at the home inhaled smoke and were transported to a hospital by paramedics.
No other injuries were reported.
A cause of the fire and damage estimates were under investigation.
