ANAHEIM, Calif. (KNX) – Three people died in a fiery crash early Monday morning in Anaheim.
A patrol car saw a Mercedes sedan dash down Harbour Boulevard around 2 a.m., Anaheim police said.
The car then went airborne through an intersection before crashing into a brick wall, officers told NBC Los Angeles.
Officers said the impact of the crash caused the car to “split in half” and go ablaze. It also caused water to shoot out of a fire hydrant and hit the power lines which caused explosions, KTLA reported.
Police said one person burned inside the car while another body was found in a front yard. One person was pulled out of the car.
All three people were pronounced dead. Their identities are unknown at this time.
