During the event, a helicopter used by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department landed on a rooftop helipad. But its downdraft swept an inflatable bounce house at the event below off the ground, the police department said.

Three of the children inside the portable attraction were taken to the hospital. Another child inside at the time did not go to see emergency doctors.

One woman told KABC her child was inside the bounce house and was injured after being “hit by debris or being thrown to the ground.”

The Sheriff’s Department said it was working with officials from the Federal Aviation Administration to investigate the incident.
