ONTARIO, Calif. (KNX) — Ontario police Saturday were investigating a shooting that resulted in several people being hospitalized the afternoon prior.
The shooting occurred shortly after 4:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of MIssion Boulevard at the Best Ontario Inn. Officers responding to the call found three people suffering from gunshot wounds on the scene.
Injuries were not fatal, but victims were hospitalized for their injuries, according to Ontario police.
Multiple witnesses were detained for questioning, but no arrests were made as of Friday night. The suspected shooter was still at large as of Saturday morning, but police maintained the shooter was among those detained and questioned the night before.
