California woman arrested for flying out to Michigan to meet with teen boy

NOVI, Mich. (KNX) – A California woman was arrested in Michigan Sunday after she flew out to Novi to meet with a teenager she befriended online.

Stephanie Sin, 33, flew from San Francisco to Novi and rented an Airbnb to meet a 15-year-old boy she befriended online, according to Fox 2.

Police told the outlet the teen told his parents after she sent an Uber to pick him up. Officers arrested Sin on one count of child sexually abusive activity, as well as using a computer to commit a crime.

She’s being held on $100,000 cash bond.
