For the second year in a row San Diego Comic-Con will be held virtually due to the ongoing pandemic, the convention announced on March 1st.
The 3-day virtual event is slated for July 23 - 25, 2021. While the SDCC organizers note that July is too early to hold an in-person event of Comic-Con's magnitude. However, an in-person "Special" Comic-Con will return at the San Diego Convention Center November 26 - 28, 2021. So, Thanksgiving weekend.
The hope is that the November edition will generate much needed revenue for the convention and the local economy. For more info head here.
