According to documents filed in L.A. County, the 18-year-old changed her name due to “gender identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.”

The 18-year-old took her mother’s last name.

Justine Wilson, a Canadian author, was married to must from 2000 to 2008. Vivian also has a twin brother, Griffin.

On Monday, Wilson tweeted, “‘I had a weird childhood,’ my 18 year old said to me. ‘I can't believe I'm as normal-seeming as I am.’ I said, ‘I'm very proud of you.’ ‘I'm proud of myself!’”

Musk, whose “Pronouns suck” tweet from 2020 has resurfaced, has also said on Twitter that he supports the transgender community.

“I absolutely support trans, but all these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare,” he said in a Dec. 16, 2020 tweet.

Musk has not publicly commented on his daughter’s gender and name change.
