LOS ANGELES (KNX) — A woman fell and reportedly fractured her ankle while hiking near the Fryman Canyon Trail in Studio City on Saturday.
The hiker was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.
The incident was reported shortly before 2 p.m. near the 8400 block of West Mulholland Drive, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
"She is being treated and stabilized by first arriving LAFD ground crews who hiked to her location, and will soon be hoisted aboard a hovering LAFD rescue helicopter for continuing in-flight care during direct transport to an area hospital," a department spokesperson said.
