SIGNAL HILL (CNS) - A fire damaged a commercial building in Signal Hill Thursday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters were sent to the 1700 block of East 28th Street shortly before 6 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire, which burned through the roof of the building, was extinguished about 7:25 a.m., the fire department reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
