
A fire broke out at a Los Angeles County Fire Department station in Huntington Park on Wednesday.
It happened around 4 a.m. in the 6000 block of Santa Fe Avenue, according to the L.A. County Fire Department.
No injuries were reported; however, at least one fire truck was burned according to KABC-7.
The fire was knocked down at 5:17 a.m.
Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn said in a post on X that the station was “severely damaged and all of the engines and paramedic units were destroyed.”
She added that the firefighters’ gear was damaged and that an inspection would be done to see if any of the radios are salvageable.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
