How to approach cruises after Norwegian ends vax requirement

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS RADIO) – One of the world's largest cruise lines, Norwegian, has become the first major cruise company to end all of its vaccination requirements.

So is now the time to book a cruise?

To answer your questions, KCBS Radio spoke with Dr. Robert Siegel, professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Stanford University.

Short answer? It depends - while cruise companies are coming from a financial standpoint to justify loosening COVID requirements, from an outbreak standpoint, Dr. Robert Siegel says the risks depend on the individuals level of protection and personal comfort.
