LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A man died Friday near a hiking trail in Griffith Park, and an investigation was underway.
Paramedics sent to the 2600 block of Commonwealth Avenue, north of Los Feliz Boulevard, about 8:45 a.m. pronounced the man dead at the scene, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the man, who appeared to have been about 50, or on his cause of death.
The hiking trail at Vista Del Valley Drive was closed, and an investigation was being conducted by the Los Angeles Police Department.
