The divorce between Kevin Costner and estranged wife Christine Baumgartner is not getting any smoother.
Costner’s legal team has accused her of “gamesmanship of the worst sort” in new divorce court documents, according to PEOPLE.
The actor’s legal team has requested the court compel Baumgartner to answer questions they gave her regarding the couple’s premarital agreement.
The claim says Baumgartner has been been avoiding these questions. They included whether or not she understood the agreement before entering into it with Costner.
The prenup said she would receive a $1.5 million payout, which she could forfeit by challenging the prior agreement.
Costner is also seeking nearly $14,000 in legal fees resulting from his team attempting to get these answers from his ex-wife.
An evidentiary hearing related to the divorce trial is set for Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.
