Los Angeles is cracking down on brokers who resell tee times for public golf courses across the city.

Golfers have to pay $10 to reserve a time, or $40 for some costs. The money will be credited towards the $35 greens free. At check-in, golfers can be charged a $25 difference.

Bookings will now include a non-refundable deposit. The Los Angeles Times reported that the L.A. Board of Recreation and Park Commissioners have approved the new program.

There are no refunds for those who cancel. For no-shows, they will be penalized an additional $10. There has to be a credit card on file for reservations.
