The Los Angeles Fire Department is searching for its next mascot – and it could be your dog.
It’s part of the department’s annual “Howling Heroes” fundraiser. All the money raised goes toward the LAFD Foundation, as well as the department’s Canine Therapy Program and Canine Search and Rescue Team.
Those interested in having their dog be the department’s official mascot can submit a photo of their dog, along with a $10 entry donation and your pitch on why your pooch should be selected.
You can enter your pet or pick your favorite pet until Wednesday night at 8. Each vote costs $1.
