
NEW YORK (KNX) – Police have launched an investigation after a 31-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday while reserving parking spots for a "Law & Order" television show shoot in New York City.

According to officials, the victim was sitting in a car on Norman Avenue and North Henry Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn just after 5 a.m., when he was approached by the gunman.
The suspect opened the car door and shot him multiple times in the face and the neck before fleeing the scene, according to New York City police.
The victim was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull, where he died.
Police said the suspect was a man wearing a black hoodie and black pants.
