Man shot, killed by neighbor in Sherman Oaks, police say

SHERMAN OAKS, LOS ANGELES (KNX) – A Sherman Oaks man was arrested after he reportedly shot and killed his neighbor following a dispute.

It happened in the 14000 block of Moorpark Street around 3:15 a.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

A man found at the scene with a gunshot wound was pronounced dead.

The shooting suspect turned himself into police, according to KTLA.

Police also told the outlet that the suspect and the victim were neighbors who got into an altercation over a noise complaint, adding that the victim was allegedly known for being "loud and disruptive to other neighbors."

Neither the victim nor the suspect have been publicly identified at this time.
