1 person hospitalized following shooting at Bank of America in Carson

CARSON, Calif. (KNX) – One person was hospitalized following a shooting at a Bank of America branch in Carson near Harbor City on Monday, multiple outlets reported.

It happened at the 23800 block of Vermont Avenue around 11:20 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said. CBS L.A. reported that the shooting was an attempted robbery conducted by four men.

The suspects were last seen heading toward the 110 Freeway.

One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, deputies said.

FOX L.A. reported that bullet casings were seen around a Loomis armored truck.
