
LOS ANGELES (KNX) — An evacuation order was put in place Monday beginning at noon in the Bond Fire burn scar area of Orange County. The order affects Silverado, Williams and Modjeska Canyons.
The mandatory order is in effect as the National Weather Service expects flash flooding in the area, county officials said in a statement, explaining that NWS has a flash flood warning in effect through midnight Monday.
"Hard road closures will be in effect at 12 p.m. and access in and out of the canyons will be restricted to public safety and public works vehicles," county officials said.
Anyone with disabilities and those with access or functional needs that are in need of evacuation assistance should call Orange County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch at 714-647-7000.
Anyone with questions about the Evacuation Order is asked to call the County of Orange Emergency Hotline at 714-628-7085.
To report storm-related issues with a county road or flood control channel, call the Orange County Public Works Storm Center 714-955-0200 during standard business hours and 714-955-0333 during flash flood events and emergencies.

Emergency shelter for pets and people
The County of Orange Social Services Agency (SSA) has opened a Care and Reception Center at the Lake Forest Sports Park, located at 28000 Rancho Parkway in Lake Forest, Calif. Red Cross officials are on standby to offer support and overnight shelter there. For assistance, call 714-628-7085.
While pets will not be accepted at the shelter, OC Animal Care is open to house dogs, cats and small pets and has accommodations for large animals at the OC Fair and Events Center, the county said.
For information about other large animal housing arrangements, call OC Animal Care at 714-935-6848 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 714-259-1122 during after-hours from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m.
