A Sacramento man saved the life of a kitten caught in the floodwaters.
It happened at Cottage Park Arden Arcade on Sunday, according to CBS Sacramento.
Skip Campbell, who rescued the kitten, told the news outlet his wife pointed out the kitten to him. He said he went into the water and pulled the feline out.
“It started going under and just before I got it was down a little bit low and I was able to bring it up and I just held it out here so I wouldn’t get bit or scratched,” he recalled.
The couple said neighbors expressed interest in adopting the kitten.
