LOS ANGELES (KNX) - A brazen crime spree hit several businesses in Westwood this morning.
The Los Angeles Police Department says the smash-and-grab burglaries happened between 2 and 3 a.m. Two suspects wearing sweatpants and ski masks busted the front glass of three restaurants on Westwood Boulevard.
Mashti Malone’s Ice Cream, a locally-owned ice cream shop on the corner of Westwood Blvd. and Missouri Avenue, said the burglars made off with some amount of cash.
