LOS ANGELES (KNX) – The lockdown on Venice High School was lifted.
Los Angeles Police as well as police with the Los Angeles Unified School District responded around 10 a.m. after there was a report of a weapon on campus.
Los Angeles School Police Sgt. Nestor Gonzalez told KNX News that officers searched in and around campus, but that no weapon was recovered.
The lockdown lasted around 45 minutes.
Officials are investigating how the threat was made.
