LOS ANGELES (CNS) - A 20-year-old man killed when he was ejected from a vehicle that hit a utility pole in the Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles was identified Wednesday.
The crash occurred at 8:15 p.m. Sunday at La Brea Avenue and Edgewood Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office identified the victim as Los Angeles resident Alexander Salvador Pecina. He was a passenger in the vehicle, police said.
Pecina was taken by ambulance to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
