The latest to announce that she’ll be bringing her tour to the big screen, Beyoncé has officially revealed a trailer for Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, a documentation of her slaying on stage and a behind-the-scenes look at her 2023 Renaissance World Tour.
“When I am performing, I am nothing but free,” Beyoncé enticingly purrs in the trailer over a montage of clips from the tour. “My goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free, and no one is judged.”
Bey shared the film’s trailer to Instagram, which she captioned, “Be careful what you ask for / ’cause I just might comply,” lyrics from her song “All Up in Your Mind.”
As her previous film productions, Bey’s latest concert film will be a family affair, depicting both her dedication to her loved ones, as well as her craft.
According to Variety, insiders say “the film will have an ambitious scope, incorporating highlights from the full 2023 run of the Renaissance World Tour, the long-awaited videos shot for the visual Renaissance album, and a docu-style account of recording the album and conceiving the tour.”
The film is set to hit U.S. theaters on December 1, and ticket pre-sales at theater chains including AMC, Regal and Cinemark are officially available for purchase. Check out the trailer below.
