Could Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan be heading back to the big screen together?
If it were up to Curtis they would be! The Oscar winning actress recently shared a selfie with Lohan on her Instagram page. The two appeared as mother and daughter in the 2003 Disney hit “Freaky Friday” remake.
“Too late. YOU GREW UP and SO BEAUTIFULLY! Well, it’s Friday, and the strike is over so hopefully, we can switch places again in the near future!,” Curtis captioned the post, tagging Lohan and Disney.
Curtis’ mention of “switch places” refers to the plot of “Freaky Friday” where the two wake up and have switched bodies.
Back in 2022 Curtis told TODAY.com there was interest in making a sequel to the movie.
“‘Freaky Friday’ was so great, it has so much nostalgia to it,” she told the publication. “Young people love it, the people that grew up with it now are moms, they’re showing it to their kids.”
Curtis has frequently shown her support for her former costar. When Lohan was recently pregnant with her first child, Curtis reposted a picture showing off the baby bump.
“My friend and film daughter @lindseylohan is growing up!” Curtis tagged the image.
