
The Aftershocks got a win in the first round of The Basketball Tournament or TBT, scoring a 85 – 76 win against Iowa United. The team made up of Shocker Alumni played once again at Koch Arena were led by Wichita native Conner Frankamp ending the night with 23 points in front of the largest crowd in TBT history. Cleanthony Early added 17 points in the win.
The Aftershocks will play Sideline Cancer Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Self Made, the KU Alumni team never lead in their 87-63 loss to sixth-seeded Sideline Cancer. Perry Ellis, a Wichita native, sustained a knee injury on one of the first possessions of the game. Ellis, who recently signed a contract for a team in Japan, had to be helped to the locker room.
