In Game 5 of the NBA finals on Monday, the defending-champion Golden State Warriors kept their season alive with a 106-105 win in Toronto over the Raptors.
Pre-game coverage of Game 6 in Oakland will begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday on Sports Radio KFH 1240AM 97.5FM.
Toronto leads the best-of-seven series 3-games-to-2.
Golden State went on a 9-2 run late in the game to take the lead, but Toronto had the ball for the final possession and a chance to win the championship. Former Wichita State point guard Fred VanVleet twice had the ball in his hands during the closing seconds looking for the game-winning assist, but Kyle Lowry's shot at the buzzer did not go in.
VanVleet came off the Raptors bench and made three 3-pointers on his way to 11 points in the losing effort for Toronto.
The visiting team has won four of the five games in this year's finals.
