In the span of a few hours, Wichita State won three different games Wednesday night. Gregg Marshall won his 500th basketball game, as WSU beat Furman, 76-70, in the opening round of the NIT. Baseball and softball both had to go extra frames against Kansas. Hunter Gibson hit a walk-off home run in the 13th to lift the baseball team, 3-2, while Shocker softball rallied from a four-deficit to win over the Jayhawks in the 9th, 11-10.
