Former Wichita State guard Fred VanVleet continues his torrid streak in the NBA.
On Tuesday night in Toronto, VanVleet led the Raptors to a 129-104 win over the San Antonio Spurs; the arena was mostly empty, with only friends and family in attendance because of COVID protocols in Toronto.
Starting at guard, VanVleet made seven 3-pointers on his way to 33 points; he also had seven assists. This was VanVleet's third straight game with 30 points or more, and the Raptors have won all three of those games to even up their record at 17-17.
Toronto is currently in the #9 spot in the Eastern Conference standings.
VanVleet is currently third in the NBA, making 3.6 3-pointers per game.
