The Kansas City Chiefs coming off a bye week were looking to turn around this season's road woes with a game in Denver. And it was a close one, it came right down to the wire.

The Broncos have the #1 defense in the NFL.  And they held the Chiefs to a pair of FGs in the first half, where the score at halftime was 6-6.  The Chiefs offense ramped up in the second half getting a touchdown in the 3rd quarter, and another with around 10 minutes left in the game to take a 19-16 lead.

But the Broncos blocked Harrison Butker's extra point attempt.  And scored on their next 2 drives, a pair of FGs including one on the final play of the game gave Denver the 22-19 win.  The Chiefs drop back down to 5-5, four games behind the Broncos, and in the division's #3 spot.  Next up for KC, a trip to Indianapolis to face the Colts next Sunday.
