In a series tweets sent out by Green Sunday, the Warriors forward was watching a replay of one of the Bulls' NBA Finals games against the Utah Jazz, where he sounded off on how you can't compare eras followed by a bold claiming that the 2017 Warriors would have no problem handling the 96' and 98' Bulls, believing they'd win "by a dub."

Some notable people in the NBA community chimed in on Green's hot take, including Kevin Durant, who agreed, as well as ESPN analyst Richard Jefferson who flat out ripped his Green's take to shreds -- calling that year's Warriors squad only the "second best team" he's played against.

If we look at the tale of the tape, the 2017 Warriors went 67-15 defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in that year's Finals and were a dominant team from start to finish.

As for the Bulls, the 98' team won only 62 games but beat Utah to repeat as NBA Champs. In 96' the Bulls won a then-record 72 games before going on to win Jordan's fourth championship.

Green is still putting that year's team over the Bulls, pointing out the differences in the playstyle of the 90s to today.

The age-old question of comparing eras and playstyles when the "greatest ever" conversations get brought up is a topic that has been discussed long before the advent of social media. Draymond intentionally sparked those conversations yet again, giving sports debate shows their content for the day and providing even more publicity on himself and indirectly on his podcast.
