In the NBA Wednesday, the Toronto Raptors picked up a 109-100 win on the road at the Washington Wizards.

Starting at guard for Toronto, former Wichita State star Fred VanVleet socred a season-high 33 points; he also had a half-dozen assists. Starting at forward for the Raptors was Svi Mykhailiuk of the Kansas Jayhawks, with 15 points and four rebounds.


Now on a five-game winning streak, Toronto is 6-3 on the season and in the #4 spot in the Eastern Conference.
