The Kansas City Chiefs have added depth to their offensive line, acquiring guard Josh Ezeudu from the New York Giants in exchange for a 2028 seventh-round draft pick.
Ezeudu, 26, was selected by the Giants in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of North Carolina. He has appeared in 33 games during his career, including 10 starts, and has experience at both guard and tackle.
The 6-foot-4, 310-pound lineman missed the entire 2025 season because of a calf injury but returned this preseason and saw time at right guard and right tackle. His versatility gives Kansas City another option along the offensive line as the team prepares to finalize its 53-man roster.
The move addresses a need for additional interior offensive line depth, particularly behind starting right guard Trey Smith. Ezeudu will now join a Chiefs offensive line tasked with protecting Patrick Mahomes as Kansas City prepares for the 2026 season.
