Coming off their 8-5 comeback win on Tuesday night, the Cleveland Guardians will have to wait for the second faceoff with division rival Kansas City Royals as the team announced that Wednesday night's game would be postponed.

The game will be made up on August 26th in a split doubleheader. Guardians reliever Nick Sandlin (4-0, 2.77) was slated to start on Wednesday, with starting pitcher Logan Allen (6-3, 5.83) available out of the bullpen.

While right handed starter Tanner Bibee (4-1, 3.74) was slated to start on Thursday in the final match of the series against the Royals, but it remains to be seen if that will be the case with the postponement.
